Well sad to say I will not be playing in the tourney this weekend. after the winter from hell, the first 70+ degree weekend just can't be spent in the games shop playing 40k...
In other news, a great night of Warmachine wednesday night. Skarre and the ladies laid the whumpin' down on Caine, but got fried by Kreoss. Horny demonic pirate goodness, YAWR! A few new pics for everyone to see tonight too.

Next weekend the FLGS is having a 2250 Tournament w/ one super heavy allowed. I've toyed with a couple different army ideas, but here's the final decision:
HQ: Kharn the Betrayer
ELITE: 5x Terminators
-2x power fists
-Icon of Khorne
- combi melta
- Champion w/ 2x lightening Claws
- 2x Dread CC Weapons
- Heavy Flamer
- Extra Armor
TROOPS: 3x 8 Berserkers w/ power fist champion
2x rhino w/ havoc launcher
1x rhino w/ daemonic possession (Kharn's squad)
HEAVY: Defiler w/ extra CC Weapon and Heavy Flamer
Land Raider w/ extra armor and dirge caster
Predator w/ twin las and las sponsons
SUPER HEAVY: Brass Scorpion of Khorne
Everything is painted except the pred, who I will whip up this week. This is essentially my normal 1750 world eaters list minus 2 squads of daemons w/ the scorp and predator added in. The pred was my sticking point, but knowing the ammount of super heavies i will be up against, I need something to reliably punch holes in armor 14.
I'll get some pics up as I get ready this week.

Yawr matey's... hoist the skull and bones and send up the grog!
Ok enough pirate talk... but damn am I sold on Skarre and her crew of horny demonic pirate babes. These ladies are fun to play and have proved a very solid army for me as I'm trying to wear some of the shine off my newb pin when it comes to Warmachine. My current list at 25 points:

As you can see, six of the satyxis and the jacks are now painted as well. I figure I'll finish the satyxis off and then hit the seawitch. After that I will probably churn out the mech thralls. We shall see.
The army is fast, furious, and fragile. The skarlock works at providing the focus factory for Skarre while the necrosurgeon tails skarre keeping her healed and bringing back any mech thralls that may fall along the way. I try to use stitch thralls as the sacrifice victims. The slayer is Skarre's bodyguard while the deathripper runs out in front for arc purposes. Primarily it's all about isolating a jack, hitting it with backlash and then letting the ladies with the whips do their thing. The ogrun serve as beatsticks themselves, but also can help with moving things around with a lucky harpoon shot. In the end, Skarre has also won a game or two simply by camping focus and getting a melee kill on her feat turn.
